As a family, Lee, Deagan, and I went to the Car Show at DeVos this weekend. Then, we went out to lunch. I just love this pic of my boys. This is just the beginning of bonding. :) (and possibly the beginning of car shows with Dad....)

Friends

The past couple weekends, we have spent time with the Kirks and the Keelers. :) It has been fun getting together and letting the "kids" play. :)

Then, after some persuading, he tolerated being sat next to a girl. Sydney thought he was weird. Hopefully, this changes because us mommies would like them to become lovers someday. :)

What I've been up to...

It's true. I haven't really had the energy after school to sit on the computer downstairs and upload pics to put on the blog. It just takes time, and I'd rather be spending time with my little guy, who is growing too fast, by the way.  But, here are some of the things that we've been up to....

I've been learning how my jumperoo works. I can't quite touch the ground, so that has put a damper on having fun while in it.

I've been smiling at my mommy. AND talking a alot!

I've been falling asleep in my car seat and acting like I've frozen up because I don't like it in there.

I've been sitting in my bumbo AND eating my fingers. :)

I've been sitting in my boppy, but holding my head up because laying it down is for sissies.

I've been wearing bibs because I have been drooling like my Uncle Pat.

I've been acting goofy when getting dressed.

I've been LOVING bath time and playing with Octy, the octopus. :)

New Year's Eve Fun

For New Year's Eve, Lee, myself, and Deagan drove over to the Reibel's house to PARTY! It was a great night of socializing for the girls, some garage "games" for the guys, and playing for the babies. :)

Playing with Friends

Because it's the holiday season, friends came from far to visit family and blessed US, as well, with their presence. :)

Christmas 2011

Christmas really hit home with me this year. Holding (and caring for) Deagan, such a precious gift, was the biggest blessing that I have ever received. I can't imagine what it would be like to hold baby Jesus if Deagan feels like the world's biggest blessing. I am really, really thankful this year; not that I wasn't in previous years, but gosh, the blessings just flow! We have such close families and we are all so supportive of each other in good times and in bad. Deagan did come at the perfect time; he makes so many hearts happy, including mine and Lee's.
