Pics of 20 weeks - Growing Belly!

20 Weeks!

We've finally made it to 20 weeks! :) This puts a big smile on my face because of how blessed I feel. It took us a LONG time to get where we are now and I feel so thankful for this moment (even though my life feels like it is going in overdrive with school finishing in 3 days and me currently moving everything in my classroom because I am moving to a different room this fall). Hallelujah for blessings in life! :)

The next AMAZING thing in this pregnancy is finding out the GENDER, which will happen tomorrow. :) Lee and I are really excited because with a boy comes lots of future events - like dirt, trucks, frogs, and plaid shorts, and with a girl comes many opposite events - like bows, pink, dolls, and dresses. We will be thrilled with whatever God chooses to give us, and we are just hoping for a healthy baby, but realistically, our lives change starting tomorrow.

Recommended or Not Recommended?!?!

So, I've decided to look into registering for some bigger items that I know I want/need for our little babe. I go on target.com and just when I think I've found something in a pattern that I like, I look at the reviews and there are 10 great things and like 8 not-so-great thing stated about this piece. So, I move on to another item that I think I might like - same thing. So, what do I register for? I don't want something that's crappy, but I also don't want all the extras that I don't need. It's just so hard to figure out.

Friends with babes, What do I do? :)

Flat(ter) Belly to BUMP :)

Today, I have made it to 18 weeks! Each week seems to be a milestone and something that makes me so happy despite my really busy, and sometimes stressful days as school comes to a close (in 2 1/2 weeks)! Here are a few past pictures of the pregnancy so far. As Lee so anxiously takes a picture each week, I begin to realize that even though I may feel uncomfortable (wearing unbuttoned pants or a squeezing belly band), I am SO blessed.

12 weeks was spent in MN :)

14 weeks in April - Mom's birthday

16 weeks - my pants are not buttoning at this point. Starting to be uncomfortable.

18 weeks - Look at my little Berk feeling sad because he's not getting all the attention.

Starting Something New

I've been thinking about starting a blog for a while now, just to keep family and friends from afar (Sara) informed on all the changes in our lives. We (Lee and I) have enjoyed reading others' blogs and how their families are changing, so why not document our lives' changing! :) I am not so good with new technology and no trainer, so I hope this all works out! Enjoy!
