It's true! Baby is coming sooner than later. Just had my dr appt and I am dilated to a 3-4 and 90% effaced!!! Dr is shocked and so are we!!! We are so thankful that I am progressing, but it seems so sudden!!! I asked dr if I would make it to my due date (Oct.18) and she said "no"... then, I asked if I would make it to my next week appt, and she said "not sure" in a way that seemed suspicious. Now, if I'm like mom......... I won't go until my due date, like her, but i have a feeling that I am not like her. (What else would give you the idea that I wasn't like her?!?!? There are many ways that I am not like her.)
Lee took a 37 week pic on my iPad, but I can't seem to upload it...
Ultimately, when I take a step back, I am realizing that in these moments of my life, I couldn't ask for anything more. Lee and I have been praying for a baby for SO long, and it may actually be time for us to bask in this blessing. Prayers welcome for a healthy baby BOY!!! :) But, who knows... I could be updating after my next appt next week. God has a plan.

36 weeks and PROGRESSING!
Less than a month... and I am now counting down (I think)! I have felt great throughout most of this pregnancy and I really can't complain - except for the fact that finding stylist clothes stinks and I have a cankle. haha So, I am cool with the baby "cooking" in my belly for a while longer.
I did have my Dr appt Tuesday and got some really shocking news! I am dialated to a 2 and am 70% effaced! Wowzers! I had no idea... I have felt completely normal... so Dr says that I may go early. She says that it's possible I'll stay this way for a while (like mom did - blah, blah, blah), but if I'm already progressing at 36 weeks, her personal opinion is that I'll go early. This is GREAT news because I've been waiting to meet this little, crazy, kicking guy for a LONG time! (But... it obviously gets me nervous about when it will actually happen since it could be at school when I'm not ready - and God would do that to me because he knows that I can't be prepared for everything in life... I gotta trust that he has all of this planned for me and it will work out perfectly.)
Here's a pic for your enjoyment: :)
P.S. Lee, my loving husband, who enjoys "date night" as ordering to go food and watching a redbox, said that he would like to go out for a nice dinner this weekend............. I was shocked and ever so nicely replied with a "Heck YES!" So, this could be the last "nice dinner" as a family of three (Lee P., me, and Berkles). Crazy to think! But really, super exciting!

One more thing...
I really just couldn't resist reading a new book with Berkley called... The Tickle Monster from Cousin Aidan (for baby, of course). Berkley wasn't so sure about the gloves... He wanted to bite them. haha - Hopefully, baby will get his share of laughs when grandpas and daddy read this book to him. Just HAD to share.
Excuse the mess in the background. Lee was "assembling". :)
A few new things for my favorite little guy...
So... since the showers (and my obsessive shopping on etsy.com), there are some additions to the baby's room. Check it out!
The bouncer was given to us (from friends Jim and Mindy) a while ago, but I finally let Lee assemble it. :) We LOVE it. Berkley is not so sure though...
We got the diaper "pail" (from Sara) that was much needed. Lee liked opening and closing it repeatedly with his foot. He's amused easily.
Here is an unbelievably ADORABLE quilt handmade by a friend, but given to me by my sis. LOVE it.
I ordered a boppy cover that matched the room. :) Super soft.
This special gift (from Sara) fits perfectly in the nursery. AND I love the saying.
I finally gave in and purchased some diapers... :) Cute little diapers... until they stink. haha
Take a look at the curtains my talented mother made. :) The curtains I bought, but she added ribbon loops that accented the room. She's "homey" like that. :)
35 weeks along!
Here is a belly pic - He keeps growing and moving all over the place! We have an appt tomorrow, so we'll see if he's still measuring 2 weeks ahead! :)
A REALLY Nice Day...
...was the morning of a friends shower. Both friends, Lisa and Sara, wanted to throw me a friends shower way back when. So, when the day finally came, I was really amped up for it. I knew that they had put a lot of thought into it. Lisa took most pictures, but here are a few to share. :)
We had a craft time where all the girls cut out fabrics to paste to onsies. There were a variety of sizes and fabrics. They ended up SO cute AND so personal. I LOVED it and I KNOW baby will get lots of wear out of them.
Tara's, Kristen's, and mine :) for when he's a bit bigger...
Dana's, Lyd's, and Can's for winter time...
AND Becky's, Lisa's, and Sara's for when he is a newborn.
LOVE THEM ALL!
How can you resist?!?!?
Little Aidan (Sara's babe) made a quick appearance at the end.
He was wearing his "A is for Awesome" shirt from Aunt Andrea! :)
A is for other things as well... like Auntie AND Andrea! :)
Here are my hostesses and myself.

Blessings
Since I have my iPad (through ZPS), I don't upload pics quite as often and I failed to share pictures of two showers that were thrown for baby. One was "hosted" by my ever-supportive sister (and mom and grandma) and one was hosted by my girlfriends. Both of them were such a good time and really showed us how loved we are. Babies cost a lot of money, and without their gifts, we would be spending bunches more at Target... which Lee would LOVE. :) But really, the two showers meant a lot.
Claire, myself, Cousin Ranae, and Anna
I have babysat Claire and Anna since birth and now I get to teach them!
Mom, Grams, Great Grams, Lyd, and myself - Great Grams is such a champ!

The array of food and drink - many hours spent putting this together so that it would equal perfection...
and it did. :)

34 weeks
Not only have I made it to the 34 week mark, but I also am a a full-time teacher again! Today was my first day back and it went great! The kids seem super sweet, and I think it'll be a good year - Actually, I KNOW it will be a good year because I am having a baby! Yay!
